Piglets to cuddle and care for

If you have never felt the silky soft skin of a newly born piglet and marvelled at the warmth generated by such a small apparently helpless animal then you truly haven’t lived.

Whenever anyone comes to visit our farm to see pigs whether they are children on a school trip, new pig keepers coming to get their first piglets or regular customers who want to see what new additions there might be we encourage everyone to experience the joy of holding any newly born piglets there might be available when they visit. We watch faces change, attitudes soften - We see apprehension, doubt and worry quickly disappear to be replaced by the biggest of smiles.

Can you match these smiles with the piglets?

All the above smiles have been generated by holding or being with rare breed pigs or piglets but if you have kept pigs before you will know exactly what we are talking about. However if you are thinking about keeping pigs for the first time then we have one piece of advice for
you:

Stop thinking and put a smile on your face

Just send us an e-mail at piggywigsfarm@aol.com or telephone 01980 621774 and we will be only too pleased to help you with advice, suitable stock (whether for breeding, as ‘pets’ or for fattening) and stories of how we reached this point in our lives that will turn you smiles into uncontrollable belly laughs. We have learnt that life can be fun and now we want to share that sense of fun with everyone.
